4. Stevie Ray - Harlem Heat
Stevie Ray’s inclusion on this list is unfortunate, because if it wasn’t for him, his brother Booker T wouldn’t even be in the professional wrestling business, and he might have ended up in jail permanently, or worse. Stevie got his brother off the streets and into the gym to train to be a wrestler. The two would eventually form Harlem Heat, winning numerous WCW Tag Team Championships.
It was ironically Stevie who turned on his brother and ended the team, joining nWo Black and White. Booker would go on to great success both in WWF and WCW, winning multiple World Titles and becoming a WWE Hall of Famer. Stevie Ray’s major contribution was adding the term “Fruit Booty” to the wrestling lexicon during his stint as a color commentator for WCW.
Stevie did get his opportunity to shine when he inducted his brother into the Hall of Fame. The fans gave him a very nice ovation for his accomplishments when he first came out. Sadly, that will probably be the biggest accolade he will get in his retirement.
