10 Biggest AEW Scandals

5. A Rare PR Misstep

WWE has partnered with the Susan G. Komen charity since 2012, and it is still listed as a partner on the company's community website.

The relationship has drawn strong criticism because the Komen organisation itself has been embroiled in several scandals. The charity has been accused of using donations to aggressively target other charities with legal action, as if they're somehow competition. Moreover, the salary commanded by the CEO was ripped apart for its excessive amount, suggesting once again lamentable priorities, and the charity was further criticised for partnering with Baker Hughes, an oilfield services corporation linked with using carcinogens in its extraction process.

AEW has often prided itself on being the pro wrestling company that listens to criticism, and even if the Orange Cassidy Vs. Matt Hardy programme is somehow still going, they re-thought something far more important far more quickly.

Upon the announcement that the promotion had partnered with Komen, CM Punk read the room, and several replies, before presumably being the one to alert the promotion of its poorly-researched PR no-no.

AEW subsequently partnered with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation as an alternative.
