10 Biggest Disappointments In WWE Elimination Chamber History

5. Tag Team Title Match In 2015

One of those matches was the bumper Tag Team Championship bout, in which the New Day defended their straps against five other teams in the most jam-packed Elimination Chamber match on record.

In principle that may have sounded like a good idea - but in practice that wasn’t quite the case.

Too many bodies - 13 in total - made the match feel more like a Battle Royal free-for-all, and there were a couple of timing issues that compromised some of the major spots.

Twice we saw Kalisto go for a climb, the first instance resulting in him essentially being crotched on top of the New Day’s pod, where he then lay around waiting for a solid four minutes. Then, when he made his second ascent, this time to the apex of the chamber roof, he seemed to run out of space when he got there. After some more time spent dangling around, he tamely dropped onto a mass of bodies below. The spot just ran out of steam.

Add in the fact that we had tag teams breaking up pinning attempts on other rival teams, and this one just felt like a bit of a hot mess.
