It might not seem so special now, but the first meeting between The Undertaker and his little brother Kane was a legitimately big deal. The entire reason Kane existed onscreen was The Undertaker and the eventual showdown between the two was full of tension, excitement and intrigue.

The match was almost an entire year in the making, with rumours of Undertaker's baby brother beginning back in April 1997. Paul Bearer was holding the secret over Taker for months, but it wasn't until Badd Blood: In Your House in October that Kane arrived. It would be almost six months before their first match together.

They hadn't even faced each other one-on-one on house shows to this point. 'Taker had been reluctant to get physical with his little brother, a stance that lasted up until Kane tried to, you know, burn him alive. You can understand why he decided to face his bro at this point.

The Undertaker and Kane did battle for the first time at WrestleMania XIV, and it took three Tombstone Piledrivers for Kane to stay down for the three count.
