2. Loser: Braun Strowman

WWE Backlash 2018 Seth Rollins The Miz

Remember that time Braun Strowman won the Greatest Royal Rumble and had a ton of momentum on his side coming out of the completely unnecessary advertisement for the new Saudi Arabia that somehow resembled the old Saudi Arabia?

Pepperidge Farm remembers.

Unfortunately, it does not look like WWE Creative did.

Strowman, arguably the second-hottest babyface in the company behind Seth Rollins, was wasted in a meaningless tag team match that accomplished nothing beyond getting himself, Bobby Lashley, Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens on the card.

Throw in the fact that it was Lashley who scored the pin for his team and you have even more reason to dislike the blatant nature in which WWE Creative wasted one of its hottest stars.

The question is where Strowman goes from here.

Roman Reigns' victory in the main event suggests he may have one more dance with Brock Lesnar over the Universal Championship coming up. That would seemingly leave Strowman out of the title picture for the time being. If that is the case, what does he do?

He has already bowled over Zayn and Owens and brutalized Elias. Could a showdown with Baron Corbin await him?

Whatever the case may be, it is a major step down for a Superstar who, for all intents and purposes, should be waging war at the top of the card.
