10 Biggest WWE Creative Mistakes Of 2015

1. Trying To Make Roman Reigns John Cena 2.0

Roman Reigns represents everything WWE want from a top star. He's handsome, yet rugged. In other words, if Roman is booked correctly, he can woo the ladies and also make the guys want to see him kick some ass. That's a lethal combination, but it's one the promotion's hierarchy have served to ruin more often than not in 2015. Rather than letting Reigns be a stoic, brooding ass-kicking machine who takes no prisoners, he has regularly been cast as a joke-cracking wise-ass who can smile his way through situations which are supposed to be serious. That's a risky way of playing things, because it reminds many people of John Cena. Instead of aiding Roman's cause, this has hurt him during the past year. As opposed to going down this road, WWE should have simplified things from the beginning. The character of Reigns didn't need to change from the animalistic beast he portrayed as part of The Shield. After all, that's what led people to gravitate towards him in the first place and start cheering his appearances. WWE's mistake has been trying to awkwardly force Reigns into a position occupied by Cena, even though both men are vastly different from one another.
