As you'll learn throughout the course of this article 2005 was quite the year for house show matches that should have been used to draw a lot of money on pay per view.

Being two of the perennial babyfaces on SmackDown back in the day, Eddie Guerrero and Undertaker would often team to take on the likes of JBL and a Dudley Boy or two to close house shows. However, when Latino Heat turned heel in the summer of 2005 in the midst of that storyline with Rey Mysterio and Dominic he would take on The Deadman four times at house shows, losing all four of those matches.

Former WWE referee Jimmy Korderas has said how your Papi, and mine, produced some of the best heel work he'd ever see during these bouts. Eddie is supposed to have spent the entirety of one of the matches working on The Phenom's eye even resorting to using a steel chair's leg to try and remove it.

It's a real shame we never got to see this match with the pay-per-view billing it deserved.
