10 Biggest WWE Losers Of 2024
8. Chad Gable
Chad Gable finished 2023 on a high note after an exhilarating feud with Gunther over the Intercontinental Championship. Gable started 2024 looking to continue the same momentum but ended the year with 36 losses out of 47 matches.
Despite failing to dethrone Gunther on multiple occasions, Gable had a big part in ending "The Ring General's" 666-day title reign by training Sami Zayn to do the job at WrestleMania 40. WWE then kept him on the Intercontinental Championship picture by booking him to turn heel against Sami Zayn. Zayn and Gable put on entertaining matches throughout the rivalry, but the latter failed in his attempts to capture the title yet again.
The Wyatt Sicks feud and forming the "American Made" faction with The Creed Brothers and Ivy Nile yielded no significant results. The fans were quick enough to accuse WWE of pushing Gable just so he would sign a new contract with the company, which he did in August 2024.
Since signing the new contract, Gable has become content with putting over the other stars and getting called a shrunken Kurt Angle by R-Truth. It seems that the creative team only brings in Gable when they need a great match on television but ignores him while discussing real opportunities.
