10 Biggest WWE Stars That Never Wrestled In WCW

4. Kurt Angle

An Olympic Gold Medal winner in 1996, Angle briefly associated with ECW that autumn, before taking offense to a moment in which The Sandman was mock crucified by Raven and his henchmen. The interest in crossing over into professional wrestling was there, as Angle took part in NWA's fiftieth anniversary show in October 1998, around which time he signed an extensive deal with WWE to be developed by the promotion.

Imagine if WCW calls him sooner? No doubt a physical freak like Angle could have risen to the endurance challenges of the WCW Power Plant, grueling exercises that made most applicants quickly quit. If Bill Goldberg, a fellow athlete of strong credentials, could ace the program, it stands to reason that Angle could do the same.
