10 Booking Steps For WWE Raw (July 11)
3. Big Cass Defeats Luke Gallows
AJ Styles faced Enzo Amore on SmackDown, defeating the loudmouth Italian-American thanks to the Styles Clash. On the outside of the ring, Luke Gallows and Big Cass hit one another with simultaneous big boots, so it makes sense to imagine there's a match brewing between both men at some point in the near future.
Raw is the best place for that meeting to happen, because it helps further the ongoing story involving both men's respective teams. At Battleground, Big Cass teams with Amore and John Cena to face The Club, and both sides have been brawling back and forth recently.
It's been said that Vince McMahon is very high on Cass, so why not have him defeat Gallows in a spirited big man match before all hell breaks loose? As soon as he does so, AJ Styles and Karl Anderson can then attack Enzo, leaving things open for Cena to sprint down the ramp and become involved.
Gallows is an under-rated performer - his time in Japan really improved him - so he'd know exactly how to make Big Cass shine.
