6. Rusev Finally Dumps Jinder Mahal As His Partner

It's almost an understatement at this point to remark that Rusev's alliance with Jinder Mahal on Raw hasn't worked, but it's an understatement worth repeating until such a union is dissolved; teaming with Mahal was always going to be a major comedown for the Bulgarian after his lengthy feud with Roman Reigns last year, and it has done absolutely nothing for him.

Mahal may have his strengths, but his presence drags Rusev down instead of complementing the former United States Champion, and it's high-time that both men went their separate ways.

Meekly trying to turn Jinder babyface is not the best strategy though, because it's unlikely that fans will accept his sudden change of heart. Besides that, Rusev is definitely the more popular of the pair anyway.

Therefore, writing Rusev to steal the win from Jinder on Raw (possibly against a low-level team like The Shining Stars) is the best route. Pulling Mahal from either Primo or Epico's fallen body, the arrogant Rusev would take the win for himself.

When Mahal has a problem with this post-match, he'd be smashed by the vicious brute. Pressing the reset button on Rusev is WWE's best option before WrestleMania, because he's going nowhere in his current role.
