10 Booking Steps For WWE Raw (March 7)

3. Triple H Punishes Dean Ambrose For Being Roman Reigns Buddy

It's been done before, but that shouldn't phase The Authority when it comes to teaching errant babyfaces a lesson. Previously, Roman Reigns has defeated the entire League Of Nations pretty much on his own, but WWE should learn from their past mistakes and actually make the group look imposing. They certainly looked a little more threatening on last week's show. Beating down Ambrose following his match against Alberto Del Rio, the League set the table for Triple H. Despite a spirited fight back from Dean, one Pedigree floored him. In the process, 'The Game' agreed to give Ambrose a shot at the WWE Title. There's no way Triple H should want his challenger to be 100%, he also has Roman Reigns leering in the distance come WrestleMania. Therefore, Triple H could slot Dean Ambrose into a handicap situation on Raw. Ideally, his ability to fight off the numbers would be limited to just a few peppered strikes, the writing team should want to sell the idea that Ambrose is up against it. Placing the League Of Nations firmly in the corner of Triple H also gives the heel faction some more purpose.
