Who is GUNTHER to doubt El Dand...erm...Jey Uso? On Raw, the reigning World Heavyweight Champ said he was slightly disappointed that Uso won the Rumble, largely because he's already beaten Jey on a recent Saturday Night's Main Event and had hoped for something bigger at WrestleMania. An overconfident heel slipping on the proverbial banana peel is coming then.

There's no way GUNTHER gets away with bragging like that when Jey is on such a hot streak. Like Charlotte Flair, Uso said he wanted to weigh up his options before making a firm decision, but he's more likely to pick Raw's main man than SmackDown's. Jey owes GUNTHER a receipt for laughing off his chances of becoming World Champion whilst he's still in the title hot seat.

It's time for Trips to strap a rocket to Jey's back and make him unstoppable. He shouldn't stare at the lights even once between now and 'Mania 41. WWE can tell the story of Uso riding the crest of a wave; he's carried by fan support, the love of his family, and he's growing in stature as a true main event player on the roster.

Honestly, it doesn't matter who the writers put Uso in the ring with between now and April. He should win. Similarly, GUNTHER has to go back to swaggering around the place looking unbeatable. No cowardly tactics like the ones he showed vs. Damian Priest, please. This is too important a story for that. Jey's ascent to the top permanently depends on his ability to conquer someone at the top of their game.
