The third and final match on this list from SummerSlam 2005, truly an otherworldly PPV booked by mad men.

This is one of the greatest ladder matches in the history of wrestling, an electrifying display of athleticism and sadistic offence, with committed emotional performances from both competitors who have some of the greatest chemistry in the history of the business. It's also absolutely insane, arguably the most definitive example of SmackDown's 04/05 reign of relentless madness, with the most notorious stipulation of the entire era.

The Custody of Dominik ladder match literally involves two of the greatest professional wrestlers in history attempting to murder each other with ladders for the custody of Rey's actual son Dominik. SmackDown at this point in time looked at Eddie Guerrero, arguably the best worker to ever step foot in the ring, and thought "he should claim to be the biological father of his friend's son, and then mount a reign of terror in order to Steal The Child" - and it worked, somehow!

While the match is more known for the stipulation than the contest, anyone that goes back to witness it will find themselves in awe of the sheer brutality that these two classic rivals put each other through.

Make no mistake, it's not just a car wreck in terms of the narrative background, it's an all time WWE masterpiece that is constantly on the verge of complete collapse. Vickie Guerrero misses her cue and Eddie swears on camera very loudly over it. Most of the spots seem to be about a centimetre away from going terribly wrong and some of them do, both men batter each other so hard that bruises are everywhere. Yet, this madcap frenetic display of ultra-violence only added to the truly unique aura of the contest, and sold what could have easily been mediocre WWE nonsense into electrifying melodrama.

When Rey gets his son back, it feels truly earned.
