10 Cheesiest Music Videos In Wrestling History

9. West Texas Rednecks, "Rap Is Crap" (WCW, 1999)

Among its other spectacularly strange decisions in 1999, WCW decided that Curt Hennig, the most Minnesotan man alive, was a cowboy from Texas. West Texas, specifically, which is the most Texan part. He was supposed to be a heel, a bitter rival of the hip-hop-themed Filthy Animals stable. Unfortunately, WCW's heavily Southern base agreed with Hennig's assessment of rap as a genre, and they sided with the Rednecks.

The video itself is a bizarre splitscreen affair, simultaneously showing the Rednecks performing onstage in a huge arena and a small handful of spectators in a parking lot. We also see our heroes relaxing on their tour bus, which they surely need to travel America playing the one song that they know for cavernous arenas packed to the gills with 16 people.
