10 Christmas Gifts Every WWE Fan Wants For 2016

7. The Divas Division To Continue Shining

2015 represented a year of change in World Wrestling Entertainment. In truth, it also involved a lot of internal battling between the old way of doing things and a proposed fresh start. Vince McMahon is rumoured to believe women will never be a top draw in WWE, whereas Triple H and Stephanie McMahon are very much believers in the idea that they can be just as viable as the men. How long this mindset lasts is anyone's guess, but most fans hope it does continue throughout 2016. Matches involving the likes of Paige, Charlotte and Sasha Banks have appealed to WWE audiences. Even Divas from the 'old' school, such as The Bella Twins and Alicia Fox, have stepped up and improved on their in-ring performances overall. Looking to NXT, there are stars like Emma, Bayley and Asuka ready to break through and take places on the main roster. Things look very promising on the female front, but it's important that WWE don't think all of the hard work is done. It'll take years of sustained momentum for women's wrestling to really make a mark in the juggernaut promotion, and fans want the successes of 2015 to be topped in 2016.
