10 Coolest Wrestlers In WCW History

6. Booker T

Few WCW Superstars were more athletic throughout the late 1990s than Booker T.

A heavyweight, he was incredible agile and dynamic. He had a move set others his size simply did not. He was flashy, charismatic and captured the attention of the audience through his own self-confidence. He would raise the roof and with brother Stevie Ray in Harlem Heat, became one of the most prolific tag teams in WCW.

At a time when the promotion was dominated by aging, over-the-hill stars whose best in-ring days were clearly behind them, Booker represented youth and energy. As he blew the roof off of buildings across the country, working outstanding matches with the likes of Perry Saturn, Chris Benoit, Rick Martel and Finlay, the Houston native gained fans who saw him as a much cooler alternative to the 40-somethings reliving their heydays and parading behind the nWo logo to keep themselves relevant.

By the time 2000 rolled around and WCW was on its last legs, world champion Booker T was essentially the only cool thing about the decrepit old company.
