4. The Wrestler Outsmarts The Actor

The movie had been a smash hit, helping revitalise Rourke's acting career, and critics were queuing up to praise his performance. Sadly, the actor's managers would advise him not to go through with the match itself, but Chris Jericho was tasked by Vince McMahon to try and goad the actor into accepting on an episode of Larry King Live. It was clear to all wrestling fans that Jericho was simply playing a character during his interactions on the show with Rourke, but Mickey wasn't playing, and left the interview legitimately mad, steaming at Jericho for real.
