Two more icons of the industry up next, as we move onto the Undertaker and Edge’s Hell in a Cell classic from SummerSlam 2008. Although, things certainly escalated in this one and it soon degenerated into what was effectively a TLC/Hell in a Cell hybrid match.

Which can’t have been too enjoyable for the bodies of either man involved...

There were bells and whistles galore as the steel steps and a ringside camera were brought into the mix, while Edge used his TLC experience to dive of a ladder (chair in hand) and bundle Undertaker through a table below.

The action then spilled outside of the Cell; not because someone unlocked the door, but because Edge Speared ‘Taker through one of the structure's walls. That enabled him to hit another Spear, this time sending both men crashing through an announced table (Spanish variety, once again) before they went back inside the Cell and Edge was chokeslammed through two tables from the top turnbuckle.

Undertaker would hit the Tombstone for the win but, as we've seen on this list already, the bell doesn’t necessarily mean the end of the action. After the match, ‘Taker made his way back down to the ring to chokeslam Edge off of a ladder and through the canvass below, before the same spot Edge had fallen through was later engulfed in flames.

A crazy stunt to bring an end to an equally crazy showdown.
