In a prior entry, Mae Young was said to be someone that was game for pretty much anything the WWF creative team had in mind. She most certainly wasn't alone, and Mark Henry was another performer willing to do anything he was asked.

That explains why he agreed to branch out from the Nation Of Domination and be portrayed as a sex addict.

Eventually, Henry would end up in an on screen relationship with Young. The pair even had a 'baby' together, which turned out to be nothing more than a phony human hand covered in all manner of fake bodily fluids. Before all of that, the WWF decided to sow the seeds for Henry's new 'Sexual Chocolate' guise.

Amongst other things, Henry was booked to have relations with a transvestite and admit to having sexual intentions towards his own sister. This was all part of a character designed to turn him into a sympathetic babyface, which is truly bizarre and tells you a lot about where the company was at the time.

The character was embarrassing, although it was admittedly hard to hate on Henry. His performances were full of energy, and he put his all into the dodgy gimmick. Credit to him for that, but no credit to the writing staff.
