2. Jeff Hardy's Nasty Swanton Thankfully Looked Worse Than It Felt (WWE Raw 2020)

The 'Charismatic Engima' has taken some pretty unpleasant bumps over the decades, regularly throwing caution to the wind and dropping out of the sky to pop the masses.

Back in November 2020, though, a lack of live crowd still couldn't keep Jeff Hardy from putting his body on the line on an episode of Raw that was quickly forgotten for the most part.

Battling against musical rival Elias in yet another calamitous Symphony of Destruction encounter, the former WWE Champion had already eaten a devastating guitar shot mid-Whisper in the Wind earlier in the fight. But the Hardy boy opted to foolishly take things up a notch late on.

With Elias spread across a table, and a string section sitting on his sternum, his adversary went for a nasty Swanton Bomb off the ring-post. And the sound of shock.wav soon met a landing that involved the back of Jeff's head whacking off the edge of the steel steps.

It looked grim.

And while he would class the botched flip as "no joke" during a later WWE Network interview (via EssentiallySports), the unbreakable legend, who was back in action a week later, was quick to note how he was "okay" and "it looked a lot worse than it actually felt."
