10 Dream Goldberg Matches In WWE (And How To Book Them)

4. Shinsuke Nakamura

An out-of-this-universe type of encounter, this would be likely one of Goldberg's latter matches in his new WWE career, particularly if he had Speared his way through everybody so far placed in front of him.

Shinsuke Nakamura walks, talks and acts unlike anybody Goldberg has come face-to-face with, and a quick strike mid-Spear could easily fell Big Bill and create a huge moment in the process.

As a revelation unlike anything that has swept through WWE/NXT before, Nakamura may also be able to divide audience loyalty in the clash.

Nobody else on television in the last month or so has come close to generating the visceral support Goldberg has garnered, but The King of Strong Style would immediately divide that in two, especially if he arrived in Bill's way as a brand new NXT call-up.

Shinsuke's mind games would likely be an additional hurdle for Goldberg, who would be swimming in massively uncharted waters against such a one-off. But the possibility of seeing Nakamura's mettle tested against a dynamic giant like Goldberg is utterly thrilling, and another reminder of the fascinating landscape WWE have cultivated in the last couple of years.
