10 Dream Wrestling Matches That Didn't Deliver

3. John Cena Vs. Undertaker (WrestleMania 34)

To some extent, WrestleMania 34's Cena versus Undertaker delivered exactly what it promised. The Deadman showed up, fought his annual match at the Show of Shows, and ultimately gave us closure on the question we'd all been asking for the previous 12 months.

And yet it was also massively unsatisfying, the match only lasting a meagre two minutes 45 seconds before 'Taker put his opponent away via a Tombstone. After months of build-up, all the will-he-won't-he stuff on Raw, it felt like we had been short-changed.

It might be said in WWE's defence that, however they elected to book this match on the night, fans would have ended up going home disappointed. After all, this was one of few dream matches left in the company (the duo having, incredibly, not faced each other for a decade).

But, in the end, it was as though they didn't even try. Instead of a fight, we got a prolonged segment whose only purpose seemed to be to come good on the promise of Undertaker's first in-ring excursion in more than a year.
