4. Mr. Perfect (1993) vs. Chris Jericho (2008)
Chris Jericho and Curt Hennig are two of the most entertaining performers in and outside of the ring to ever grace the squared circle. Mr. Perfect was one of the top wrestlers in WWE from 1988 - 1993. He was technically gifted and amazing at the art of selling. Hennig could make routine offense look devasting, and wrestlers were almost always better off after working with him. When he finally turned babyface in late 1992, the fans were dying to cheer him. Chris Jericho comes in and out of WWE at his leisure, and each time he shows that he hasn't lost a step. Probably the best example of the difference in star-making between WCW and WWE, Jericho debuted on Raw in 1999 to the one of the loudest pops ever and was instantly a superstar. He's alternated between heel and face frequently and excels at both, but for my money his feud with Shawn Michaels is the pinnacle of his career. He took everything the fans loved about him and stripped it away, creating the most effective heel character he ever played. The two present an interesting mesh of styles. Both are athletic workers with impressive skills, and it would be a technical masterpiece as well as a great conflict of two of wrestling's strongest personalities.
