10 Dream WWE Matches (That Will Never Happen)

This one could still happen, and if the Hulkster has it his way, one day it will. It probably won’t, and probably shouldn’t, but a knockdown dragout brawl between two of the WWE’s all time great jacked up babyfaces would be a headliner for the ages.

Hustle, loyalty, respect vs. say your prayers and take your vitamins. The leg drop vs. the five knuckle shuffle. With both performers at the peak of their powers, this could be on a par with Hogan’s bout against The Rock at WrestleMania X8 -and given the divisive nature of John Cena, the Hulkster would likely go over as even more of a fan favourite. Both performers have a reputation for selfishness, but Hogan did the job for The Rock back in 2002, and given how much he wants this match (and the fact he’s, frankly, old), no doubt he’d do the same here.

With Hogan increasingly far from his prime and Cena in semi-retirement, it’s hard to see this match ever transpiring. However eager he is to let Hulkamania run wild once again, the result could easily be nothing short of an embarrassment. This is a dream match for many, but probably best left that way.
