10 Dumbest Decisions Of WWE’s Attitude Era

6. Kennel From Hell

Al Snow was one of the weirder characters from The Attitude Era. He was best known for carrying a mannequin head called Head and being one of the pioneers of WWE€™s wackier-style Hardcore division. The Big Boss Man was part of some of the ridiculous storylines from the time period, including famously tying Big Show€™s father€™s casket to his patrol car and driving away with it. When the two were put together, they ended up with one of the weirdest storylines of the era. The two were involved in a feud when Boss Man kidnapped Al Snow€™s chihuahua Pepper. Snow was promised he would get the dog back if he beat Boss Man for his Hardcore Championship. When Snow came up short, Boss Man held onto Pepper but agreed to meet in a hotel to discuss the matter. Boss Man€™s motives proved to be ulterior when he revealed the delicious meal he had served his enemy was Al Snow€™s best friend, Pepper. The feud came to a head at Unforgiven 1999 in the Kennel From Hell match. It€™s a match that sounds really cool if you€™re ten years old, and if you€™re any older you can how it€™s going to fall apart almost immediately. Kennel From Hell is a classic blue steel cage, inside a Hell in a Cell, with €œrabid€ dogs roaming in between the two. The match was unsalvageable, as the dogs immediately started pooping and fornicating while the action in the ring was sluggish and boring. It was notable that WWF seemed to immediately admit that it was a bad idea, and were making fun of it online only a few months later.
