10 Emotional WWE Moments That Made Fans Cry

8. Randy Savage & Miss Elizabeth Reunite At WrestleMania 7

If wrestling truly is a "male soap opera", this was a moment that was straight out of a regular soap opera, catering more towards the female audience that loves a happy ending and a good romantic story.

Leading up to this, Randy Savage had turned heel, and he had abandoned Miss Elizabeth for "Queen" Sherri Martel. Elizabeth was heartbroken, seeing the love of her life walk away. Fans watched as she sat in the crowds and looked on, without Savage knowing.

Fast forward to WrestleMania 7, with Savage facing The Ultimate Warrior in a Retirement Match. Savage would go on to lose the match, and Sherri, now seeing her "meal ticket" have to leave, lost her mind. She began kicking Savage, who was already down on the mat, and Elizabeth couldn't watch anymore. She ran down to the ring and cleared it to a huge pop. Savage, meanwhile, had no idea what was happening, as he was still on the mat with his back to the events. When Savage finally turned and realized what happened, he was confused. It was if he didn't know if Elizabeth was the one kicking him moments earlier.

With Elizabeth crying and Savage looking out into the crowd, and asking people if it was her (with people actually yelling back that she helped to save him), he held his arms out, and they embraced to another huge pop. Even in his (kayfabe) darkest moment, she was right there for him, like a great woman is supposed to be. Cameras cut to numerous people in the crowd shedding tears of joy. The women got the happy ending they were looking for, and all was right with the world, as the Macho Man didn't really fit with anyone else by his side.
