9. Nikki Bella Turns On Brie

Like they were rehearsing for a high school drama project, both Nikki and Brie Bella showed that acting wasn't their strong suit in the Summer of 2014. Nikki had turned on Brie during her sister's match against Stephanie McMahon at SummerSlam, and fans were now expected to believe both hated the other.

Things reached boiling point when Nikki told Brie she wished she'd never been born in the first place and didn't deserve to be her twin. The announcers treated this promo like it was the second coming of CM Punk's 'pipe bomb', when in reality it was all just a little far-fetched. Too far-fetched for anyone to really give a damn.

The split and subsequent hatred story happened too quickly for it to make any sense. The Bella Twins had been united just weeks ago, causing the hastily-penned 'I hate your guts and wish you were dead' story to feel forced and unnecessary.

Maybe it would've worked with better actresses.
