6. The Third TLC Match Aka The Forgotten TLC

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v9GGDrvuzBA The "Forgotten" TLC match took place on the March 24, 2001 edition of Smackdown. It was a match that was set up after Benoit and Chris Jericho won the Tag Titles on Raw against Steve Austin and Triple H. The idea was that they weren't used to having TLC matches, so if they were in match with Edge & Christian, the Hardy Boys & Dudley Boys that it would be difficult for two guys named Chris to retain their gold. The match was fantastic like all TLC matches are. Since there were eight guys involved they were able to do a lot of the things that the six guys in the other TLC matches did. This one had a different feel because the crowd loved Benoit & Jericho. It was Benoit that was positioned as the big star of the match since he was taken out with potentially broken ribs, yet he kept on coming back for more. It's no surprise that it was a great match. All eight guys knew what they were doing and built to all the big spots so well. You could hear the crowd getting louder as the match went on too. At one point Christian was given a 3D off the ladder through a table. That looked like nothing because Jeff Hardy followed it up with a leg drop off a ladder that sent Bubba Ray Dudley through an announce table. Then there was an Edge Spear on Jericho while they were on top of ladders. With the odds stacked against them, Benoit and Jericho were able to retain the Tag Team Titles when Benoit was able to bring the titles down.
