10 Forgotten WWE Matches That Had To Follow Something Infamously Terrible

6. The Hardy Boyz Vs. The Dudley Boyz Following Trish Barking Like A Dog

"But, think of how that might look sir. A dog. A...dog?"

"SURE!"

"In her bra and panties?"

"HA HA HA, YUP!"

"An...apology?"

"WHAT'S YOUR F*CKING POINT?"

"The fans are excited enough about WrestleMania, sir. They will boo you enough for the Linda story, and this might not play well. Imagine if she ever wants to run for off-"

"JUST GIVE EM A TITLE CHANGE. PEOPLE WILL FORGET WHEN WE PUT IT ON PAY-PER-VIEW"

And so it went. Just weeks before WCW and ECW were pronounced dead for good and the company produced the most critically acclaimed WrestleMania of all time, Vince McMahon decided to test if he really could do whatever the f*ck he liked on television. An uncomfortably long Raw segment saw him torture a weeping Trish Stratus until she was on all fours barking like a dog before being stripped nearly naked by the malevolent maniac his character had grown into.

The scene isn't particularly pleasant, but if you don't watch that you won't accidentally see a Tag Team Title switch featuring the same wrestlers that'd feature in the historic TLC2 at the 'Show Of Shows'. The Hardy Boyz unseat The Dudley Boyz with help from Edge & Christian, but don't taint your memories of the WrestleMania classic by remembering just how much they'd ran it into the ground by then.
