10 Forgotten WWE Matches That Had To Follow Something Infamously Terrible

3. Kofi Kingston Vs Daniel Bryan Following The Revival's Trouble With "Ucey Hot"

It sounds extremely WWE to run back a historic WrestleMania match following a disparate and instantly infamous comedy segment featuring The Revival dragging their a*ses across the canvas, but it was as much to do with the unending disaster that was the May 6th 2019 Raw than some comical scheduling.

No Way Jose was all prepped for a functional squash loss to new monster Lars Sullivan, but the chaos of the evening impacted even the silliest of spots.

Sullivan battered the entire crew that entered with Jose before obliterating the man himself as RAW ROLLED ON without another match until the planned WWE Championship headliner between Kofi Kingston and Daniel Bryan.

A dreadful show didn't really deserve the high stakes clash it was given - because nobody would be talking about it the next day. Vince McMahon had caused chaos on screen and off, leading to plenty of discussion about the product going off the rails rather than Kingston and Bryan desperately trying to keep it on track.
