10 Forgotten WWE Matches That Had To Follow Something Infamously Terrible

4. The Dudley Boyz Vs The Road Dogg & X-Pac Following Mae Young Giving Birth To A Hand

"Well...King...I didn't think she was pregnant all along..." was Jim Ross' line as he desperately clawed back some credibility following the sight of her giving birth to a hand in the 'World's Most Famous Arena' shortly before this WWE Tag Team Championship match.

Initially a rematch for the New Age Outlaws, the DX B-Team were given the shot after the group booted an injured Billy Gunn out of the group entirely for showing insolence towards leader Triple H. Pac and Gunn never had either the chemistry or fan support of the Attitude Era favourites they had to follow, not least with the tag division finally moving into the future with Bubba Ray, D-Von, Edge, Christian and The Hardy Boyz in the process of completely reinventing the wheel.

And to reiterate - it followed Pat Patterson and Gerald Brisco helping deliver a hand from an elderly lady that'd been impregnated by the World's Strongest Man. Like the f*cking follow up match mattered by the point. The booking team agreed when deciding not to bother come up with a finish - Kane ran in to get his, ahem, hands, on X-Pac and took all of the combatants out in the process.
