10 Former WWE Stars Who Definitely Should Not Return For Brand Split 2016

3. Drew McIntyre

Drew McIntyre (or Drew Galloway as he is known outside of WWE) is another who WWE never seemed to utilise to his fullest abilities. Things started off well for McIntyre as Vince McMahon's 'Chosen One', but once the wheels came off that push it was frustration after frustration for the Scot.

Since leaving WWE, McIntyre has gone from strength to strength, consistently putting in impressive performances whether in TNA, ICW, PWG or wherever else. He has quickly become one of the top names outside of the company, and this is where he should stay for now. Become the biggest fish in the smaller ponds and make those ponds bigger in the process.

McIntyre will eventually return to WWE, but this should be a few years away. It is in the best interests of the man himself, WWE and all other wrestling promotions.

I do miss his entrance theme though.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
