Why It Should Happen: HBK might be about to turn fifty, but he could probably still wrestles circles around the majority of the current WWE roster. He hasn't wrestled for WWE since his classic retirement match against The Undertaker at WrestleMania XXVI. Fans are dying to see the showstopper step back into the ring. One of the greatest in-ring performers ever, Michaels could work thrillers with some of the current roster. Just imagine Michaels versus Seth Rollins or Brock Lesnar. Hell, Michaels could even come back to work a match with/against longtime friend/rival Triple H. Even though Michaels had one of the best sendoffs in wrestling history and hasn't reneged on his promise (yet), fans would surely forgive him if he came back and had a superlative bout at a WrestleMania or SummerSlam. What Are The Odds: Don't bet on it. Michaels seems very content in retirement, is independently wealthy and has outside interests (mainly hunting and preaching about God). If Michaels was going to come back, it would more than likely have been for a programme with Daniel Bryan, although Shawn did call the student versus teacher idea 'outdated' He's still in shape, seems to be virtually injury-free (he has no problems with his back these days) and is in a good place spiritually these days. He could come back and work with the new generation but we doubt he will.
