10 Former WWE Stars Who Must Return For One More Match

5. Trish Stratus

Why It Should Happen: Hey, who doesn't want to see Trish return? Stratus famously beat Lita in Toronto at Unforgiven 2006, winning the Women's Championship in her last ever match. Having accomplished everything she feasibly could in the company, it was time to move on... But now there are more opportunities for Trish inside the squared circle. Trish was the best female wrestler of her generation but today's divas (particularly those tearing it up in NXT) are a cut above, something she herself has pointed out, saying:
People are really talking about them. They are the next generation that will be something to talk about. We talk about the golden era that was my time. They may have the platinum era from what I have seen. They are doing amazing.
A feud of Trish (and perhaps the aforementioned Lita) leading a stable of former WWE divas against the current generation, would make for a great, natural programme. Just imagine Trish/Lita/Victoria/Mickie James/Melina against Paige/Sasha Banks/Charlotte/The Bellas at Survivor Series. Makes sense, doesn't it? Trish would no doubt captain her team in that scenario. Alternatively, she could come back for a big singles match with either Nikki Bella or one of the NXT gals, preferably Alexa Bliss or Sasha Banks. What Are The Odds: It's certainly not unlikely. Trish may have 'retired' in 2006 but she's been back a couple of times since, first in 2011 to team with John Cena on Raw, and then for the Snooki six-person tag at WrestleMania XXVII (where John Morrison idiotically gave her the cold shoulder treatment). Trish has also done Tough Enough and accepted her place in the WWE Hall of Fame. She's still under 40-years-old, keeps herself in great shape (she's a noted Yoga fanatic) and is heaping praise on today's divas.
