3. Ivelisse

There is a fair chance Ivelisse would have won the fifth season of Tough Enough back in 2011 had she not suffered an injury that hindered her ability to push through the challenges. She was undoubtedly the toughest female in the competition, and arguably tougher than a number of the males as well.

Officials recognized her potential and signed her to a developmental deal that year. She actually made a handful of appearances on the revamped NXT in the summer of 2012 prior to her release that August. Imagine the matches she could have had with the likes of Bayley, Becky Lynch, or even even Sasha Banks. The Boss vs. The Baddest B*tch in the Building? Sign me up!

She took her talent to Lucha Underground at the start of Season 1 and immediately formed an alliance of sorts with Son of Havoc, with whom she has been teaming ever since. Angelico was later added to the mix, and as a trio, they were among the brightest highlights of the first season. And that's saying something.

The intergender matches aren't everyone's cup of tea, but to her credit, Ivelisse looks like an equal to everyone she steps in the ring with, male or female. Watch her Lucha Underground Championship match with Mil Muertes from the Season 2 premiere as proof.
