10 Frustrating WWE Storylines That'll Never Have A Conclusion
5. Muhammed Hussan's Critique Of America
Muhammad Hassan's success in the WWE seemed a sure thing, he was a highly athletic and technical competitor, he had a great look and a had a fantastic satirical gimmick, which sadly went too far. His gimmick was that of an Arabian in America, pointing out the flaws in the stereotype that he should be judged because of his origin. Unfortunately for Hassan, WWE would execute a controversial angle mere days before the 2005 London bombings happened which caused a huge media scandal, which put pressure on the channel to make WWE drop both the angle and Hassan. The controversy involved Hassan praying on the ramp at the end of one of Daivari's matches on Smackdown, as a brigade of black-cloaked men wearing ski masks swarmed the ring and beat the Undertaker with clubs and piano wire. Fans were curious to see where Hussan's character would go and if he could beat The Undertaker, but because the news and media were closely watching after the terrorist stint, Mahammed Hassan was completely buried at The Great American Bash, with him swiftly being written off TV after the Undertaker's victory due to absolutely no fault of his own.
