10 Fun Facts From My Trip To WWE WrestleMania 30

8. Backstage At The WWE Hall Of Fame Ceremony

After my friend hooked us up with some backstage passes for the WWE Hall of Fame, we got on a huge tour bus and headed over to the venue along with the likes of Santino Marella and Curtis Axel. I was pretty nervous about what to expect or who we'd bump into at any given time.

As we walked down a long corridor, I saw the sign for "Hogan Dressing Room" and "Vince's Office" and I felt like I'd need to have my grin surgically removed as I was getting to be among a lot of wrestlers that I'd grown up watching and could potentially mingle with them.

I clocked John Cena on the far left in a deep conversation with Stephanie McMahon but in front of me was my old pal Diamond Dallas Page. I'd hosted a Q&A with him in Glasgow the previous summer so we chatted away and he was excited about inducting his mentor, Jake Roberts.

Mean Gene Okerlund was sipping on a cocktail as he nodded along to Mr T's ramblings, when round the corner came The Undertaker.

He was casually dressed and saying hi to people when a fan asked him for a photo and he seemed happy to oblige. I didn't know if I'd ever have another shot at a snap with The Deadman so I made a beeline for him and managed to get a quick photo before he disappeared into the night not to be seen again until WrestleMania Sunday...
