10 Glorious Things That Must Happen In WWE Before 2017

6. Bobby Roode: Franchise Player

Though his NXT appearances have been fleeting thus far, Bobby Roode’s WWE career looks set to be, ahem… glorious. He’s too good not to succeed, regardless of the company’s plans for him. He can stay in NXT and act as a mentor for that brand’s younger stars, or he can step-up to the main roster and play a huge role in the upper-midcard right away. Roode’s skills, experience, and charisma make him a massive asset to WWE, and they’re shooting themselves in the foot if they don’t push him like a superstar.

Roode’s 12-year TNA run, gigantic personality, and well-rounded skillset mean he’s already hugely over with the crowd. Not only that, but he might just have the most absurdly catchy entrance music ever devised, and thanks to Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano’s #GloriousBomb trend, Bobby Roode has already gone viral.

WWE have got to make him a star: anything less would be insulting. For now, he’s probably better-off at Full Sail University, where he’ll immediately stand-out as one of the brand’s top heels. All things considered, Roode should be looking to make an immediate run at the NXT Championship en route to becoming the brand’s franchise player, and when it happens, it’ll be nothing short of…

I think you get the point.
