10 Great WWE Matches With One Notable Botch

4. Mankind Vs. The Undertaker (King Of The Ring 1998)

Going over the story of this match seems pointless; there aren't many wrestling fans who haven't seen or at least heard legend of King of the Ring 1998's Hell in a Cell match, even if they only know the Sparknotes.

Instead, let's just talk about those bumps - perhaps the two most famous bumps in wrestling history.

The first was completely planned: The Undertaker throwing Mick Foley off the top of the Cell and through the announce desk at ringside. A 20ft drop with no padding and unlike anything anyone had ever seen before. It was dangerous, but at least it was anticipated.

What wasn't anticipated was the second infamous bump of the night. Foley somehow got back up after his fall and scaled the Cell a second time. He brawled with 'Taker atop the structure before taking a chokeslam from The Deadman. This wasn't your average chokeslam, though, as the ceiling of the Cell gave way beneath Foley and he once again plunged an insane distance into the ring below.

Both men have said that this spot was entirely unplanned. The ceiling had been gimmicked to sag and eventually break, but Foley was supposed to have been kicked through the mesh, allowing himself to dangle for a few seconds before falling on his front.

Instead, Foley took his second fall of the night and lost a tooth in the process. However, in the grand scheme of things, this was a small price to pay for what was an iconic, yet terrifying moment.
