Make a list of WWE's best female matches prior to the onset of the women's revolution two or three years ago, and chances are most of them will involve either Lita or Trish Stratus (or, more likely, both).

But here's one that doesn't. At SummerSlam 1994, Alundra Blayze (aka Madusa) took on Japan's Bull Nakano for the WWF Women's Championship, a title that had seen just 10 official holders in the first 40 years of its existence (in large part thanks to a 10,000 day reign from the Fabulous Moolah).

Both of the bout's competitors were better known for their work outside of America's dominant promotion - one with WCW and the other All-Japan Pro Wrestling - and it was only briefly that fans got to see them inside a WWE ring.

This match - over-shadowed, in the end, by the stellar steel cage showdown between the Hart brothers later in the night - was one of those precious few occasions.
