The Empress of the NXT Women's Division, Asuka dethroned the beloved Bayley and saw her off in a rematch. The sheer number of challengers she's run through since then is staggering. Nia Jax, Mickie James, Peyton Royce, Billie Kay, Nikki Cross and Ember Moon all fell on TakeOver specials.
Ember Moon especially looked built to take down Asuka, but instead Asuka flipped into a tweener persona, signifying she's not going anywhere until a real challenge is presented. Some people are bored of her, but what she's building is a significant title reign, no longer treating it as a ticket out of developmental.
