10 Greatest Comebacks In UFC History

8. Alistair Overeem Vs. Travis Browne - UFC Fight Night 26

If you're one of the many mixed martial arts fans who only know about fighters competing in the UFC, then we completely understand. There's a lot of fighting going on in the world and not enough time to watch it all. So if you're only aware of Alistair Overeem from his time in the promotion, then you might not be too impressed by the heavyweight.

Although he's got plenty of wins inside the Octagon, it's been a tenure full of inconsistency. However, the accolades he earned prior to joining the promotion are incredible. A former Dream, Strikeforce and K-1 champion, Overeem entered the UFC as its most decorated striker.

So when he was set to face Travis Browne, a fighter known for his knockout power, it seemed like the perfect opportunity for Overeem to show off his repertoire. For the vast majority of the four minutes and eight seconds that they fought for, that's exactly what happened. The Dutch striker was landing at will on Browne, using devastating knees to try to finish his opponent.

However, Browne refused to be put down and continued to fight back. After throwing a few front kicks up the middle to test Overeem's response, Browne landed one directly on his jaw, sending him crumbling to the ground in a heap and stunning everyone watching.
