On the basis of The Streak alone, it’s certainly tempting to put The Undertaker at #1, and there’s certainly an argument that he deserves it. For a spell, no matter where his match wound up on the card, his was the main event, and we were blessed with some true gems along the way.
We can’t overlook the lousy stuff, and there’s a fair bit of it. From the workmanlike - Diesel, Jake Roberts - to the garbage - Boss Man, Sid - and not forgetting the true horror of the Giant Gonzalez match, which ended in a chloroform-assisted DQ, the early days of ‘Taker’s streak were nothing to write home about.

Two matches against Shawn Michaels rank among the best ever, WrestleMania or otherwise. The emotion and high drama of the HHH Hell In A Cell. Each year boasted something different, but incredible.
And while the streak ended on a shonky note vs Brock Lesnar, ‘Taker got to sign off WrestleMania in the superb cinematic boneyard match with AJ Styles. The lows are pretty low, but the highs are stratosphetic.
