10 Greatest Performers In WrestleMania History
3. Seth Rollins
Is it too early to give such plaudits to Seth Rollins? Well, possibly. The guy is only eight matches deep into his WrestleMania career, and admittedly looks a little directionless a few weeks from this year’s show.
But what he lacks in quantity, he makes up for in quality and incredible consistency. All of these matches are at the very least effective. The Shield squashing the New Age Outlaws and Kane was perfect for WrestleMania XXX, and his match with Triple H was a solid torch-passing moment.
The good stuff, though, is incredible. He put on an ROH-influenced mini-classic with Cesaro and one of the all-time great IC bouts against Miz and Finn Balor. His sprint against Brock Lesnar opened WrestleMania 35 with a bang, and his clash against Kevin Owens was a highlight of the spooky pandemic show.
Best of all is his showing at WrestleMania 31. If his early match with Randy Orton wasn’t enough - and with THAT RKO, it could well have been - he wound up literally stealing the show, cashing in his briefcase to inject himself into the main event, taking home the big prize in a genuine wrestling surprise. He has plenty of time to add to his legacy, too, though who knows what he’ll be doing this year.
