10 Greatest Tag-Teams WWE Missed Out On

2. Harlem Heat

As a singles performer, Booker T joined the then-WWF from WCW once his former employer was bought over by Vince McMahon in 2001. After a short period of adjustment, Booker settled in nicely to become a real asset to the WWF/WWE, even become a multi-time World Champion in the process.

Years before, he had become co-holder of a WCW record with his own flesh and blood. Teaming with his brother Stevie Ray as Harlem Heat, Booker would win the WCW Tag-Team Titles no less than 10 times. Whether heels or babyfaces, Harlem Heat proved to be one of the premier tandems in the entire company, a real credit to WCW.

Individually, Booker T would likely have done well in the WWF without his sibling. However, as Harlem Heat they could have been excellent in the company. During their prime in the mid-1990's, they - much like Steve Williams and Terry Gordy - would have brought some much-needed talent from the flagging tag-team division.

In addition to that, Booker T and Stevie Ray were able to deliver colourful promos. WWE would later gain a real talent with Booker, but they missed out on his brilliant chemistry alongside Ray.
