10 Greatest WWE Royal Rumble Posters

Royal Rumble 2017 Poster

The most beloved of all Royal Rumble posters, and one of the most memorable promotional images from a period when WWE had established itself as the most recognisable professional wrestling brand in the world.

Featuring 1980s buy-rate heavyweights Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage front and centre with reigning World Champion Ultimate Warrior, Big Boss Man, and several other huge names making up the numbers, the crew looked like a gathering of neon superheroes ready to take on the grey and dreary NWA or whatever other type of wrestling Vince McMahon saw fit to try and crush at the time.

An iconic poster, the success of this and the aforementioned 1992 follow-up still result in calls from fans to replicate the exact same idea every year with an updated roster.

Like the Rumble match itself, this concept was built to last.
