10 Hall Of Famers Who Fell Out With The WWE

2. Randy Savage

In terms of notable Hall of Fame exclusions, Randy Savage is a superstar who many had been calling to be inducted for years before he was belatedly given a posthumous HOF nod earlier this year.

Not only was Savage kept out of the Hall of Fame for so long, he was largely ignored by the WWE. Sure, the company tried to capitalise on his career with the 2009 Macho Madness: The Randy Savage Ultimate Collection DVD, but that release felt hollow, down to the glaring lack of actual Savage participation.

The reason for Savage being ignored for so long is open to speculation. Randy leaving for WCW in 1994 hit hard with Vince, and it won't have been easy to see the deemed-washed-up Savage perform at the highest level for several more years.

Then there's the unconfirmed stories of a possible incident between Savage and Stephanie McMahon, and it also didn't help things when Randy regularly took shots at the WWE during the early 2000s, most notably calling out top star Triple H.

Randy Savage is now finally in the WWE Half of Fame, but the Macho Man took far too long to get there and sadly never got to do so whilst he was still alive.
