10 Highest Earning WCW Wrestlers Ever

3. Bill Goldberg ($2 Million Per Year)

Bill Goldberg was another man who would benefit from sitting at home and collecting on a paycheck from AOL/Time Warner. In 1998, WCW's newest phenomenon became one of the highest-paid stars on the roster, signing a fresh deal which brought him on par with several of the promotion's elite names. Better yet, in 1999, big Bill put pen to paper on yet another contract, one which would run to 2003, netting him a cool $2 million each year simply for showing up. It perhaps shows how invested WCW were in the idea of Goldberg leading them through the new millennium that they wanted to tie him up to a big deal like this. Obviously, WCW would go out of business in 2001, the bare bones of the group being bought over by Vince McMahon, but Goldberg didn't care, he still had money coming his way. Due every cent of his contract with AOL/Time Warner, the guy sat at home and received his contract as agreed. Goldberg really should have meant more to WCW in terms of ratings and revenue, but the creative team didn't really seem to know what to do with him once the initial buzz had worn off. He was a huge star, but he could have done a hell of a lot more to justify his massive contract.
