10 Huge AEW Double Or Nothing 2020 Predictions You Need To Know

3. TNT Championship: Lance Archer vs. Cody

Mike Tyson AEW
AEW

The question of who Mike Tyson will lay hands on may be as interesting as the TNT Championship match itself to some fans. Not having him lay somebody out might feel like a missed opportunity, though AEW won't want to do that to Lance Archer and Jake 'The Snake' Roberts can't take bumps. A little creativity is required.

This feud's latest developments have done more to benefit Roberts and opposing manager Arn Anderson than Cody and Archer. Regardless, a great match should still be expected. 'The American Nightmare' is one of the best pay-per-view performers in the country, having evolved into a wonderful in-ring storyteller, while Archer has been tremendous as AEW's resident monster. There isn't a better big man working in professional wrestling today. No one else melds menace, traditional power spots, personality, and freak athleticism in such a way, particularly now that Braun Strowman and Shuji Ishikawa look so athletically diminished.

The argument for a Cody victory is that he's the biggest babyface in the company. The argument against it is that'd harm Archer, who'd be minted with a victory here. One side outweighs the other, so...

Winner: Lance Archer.
